The food is pretty good. However their cocktails are over priced. If Im paying $9 for a drink, I expect to be a regular size and not miniature. They either need to lower their cocktail price or make the drinks larger

Food is good, reasonable, good service. Not the best Chinese restaurant I have been too, but, definitely, one of the better ones.

I have ate at the Golden Wok since I was a child . Now 30 years later, I still come here for their delicious food !!! I can always count on how it is going to taste. They have never served me a bad meal. The staff is always friendly . Jackie & Orlando are great! They always welcome me with a hug & fabulous service! I look forward to eating at my favorite authentic Chinese Restaurant 😍.

Food was terrible. Ordered egg foo yung and fried rice to go. Cost $28.00 for those two items and they were not edible. Never had egg foo yung look or taste like this. Never had such bad fried rice. Threw it all out. Gave 1 star because person who took my order was cordial

I hadn't found an American Chinese food restaurant I thought was over 2.5 to 3 stars in 12 years here. I had given up on it really. I had pretty much quit eating American Chinese food in general since i can't eat gluten anymore either. Imagine my surprise when I found out they will make any dish with gluten free soy sauce! Still rules out anything deep fried but just added pork fried rice back to my menu and there's is as good as my favorite from another place put of state. Cashew Chicken and Pepper Beef were excellent. Will definitely be going back a lot.

Best Chinese food in Phoenix, hands down! Been coming here for 15 years and I absolutely LOVE their food here! BBQ Pork, S&S Pork, Cashew Chicken, Brown Rice, and Chicken Chow Mein are just a few favorites that I eat regularly and are already prepared perfectly!! As an FYI, I would distinguish Golden Wok as "American Chinese" (my personal favorite!) as opposed to "Traditional Chinese".

Wow, great food, wish we would have found this place sooner and saved ourselves from bad food at other places. Friendly service, maybe a little slow but it was busy and they made sure to bring our crab puffs quickly. We had crab puffs, won ton and hot n sour soup, mu-shu pork and kung pao shrimp, all were made fresh and flavorful. We just found our new go to restaurant for Chinese!

the service was pleasant and quick. the beef dish was delicious. the fried rice was not fried. the egg roll was a rolled up fried tortilla with cabbage. there are better choices than this medium price range cafe so we won't be back.

Orange Chicken was amazing. Veggie Chow Fun was also delicious!

Have been going there cor years and my family is glad they have been able to survive the Covid situation. Come support them they are family owned and very nice people.

The Golden Wok restaurant is one of those rare gems one comes across from time to time and hides from everyone else; because the food is so good, because the wait staff has been there for 30+ years and knows everything about you, everything about the food, and the menu. It's a wonderful place, the food is great, and the prices and value are great! I highly recommend the Golden Wok to anyone who likes comfort Chinese cuisine. I'm a vegan and they have plenty of selections for me.

Honestly, disappointed with my experience here. A party of 8 booked a reservation here based off reviews- and I was not happy at the end of the meal. First off, we waited over 15 minutes after being given waters for any other service. There were 2 other tables in the restaurant so wait time wasn’t an issue. We had young kids with us and we were watched by not 1 but 2 of the severs at all time. Adults didn’t notice until our 3 year old asked why we were being watched. Odd. Food was mediocre for prices. Almost seemed like we were being rushed out at the end, when we were over an hour to their close time. Not the best family meal we have had.

Being originally from NYC I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese food. This establishment I decided to try because it had good reviews. Now im not sure if it's what I ordered but I was not happy and neither was my family. I will not return

We've loved this place for decades! The portions are good and the food is fantastic. Right now with COVID, they are taking really good precautions - kitchen staff with face shields, masks, clean and dirty pen collections to use. There is tape on the floor for social distancing. We love the orange chicken, any of the Kung Pao choices, egg Fu young, moo shu, the crab puffs, Mongolian beef (amazingly tender beef), and definitely the soups; excellent hot & sour and sizzling rice. Dinner combos are a good option, egg rolls are very large, and rice is nice and sticky.

The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff was pleasant. I order the house fried rice and the vegetable spring rolls. The food was decent but a little over priced. The 2 items that I ordered was almost $20. I can see myself coming here again though.

Combined a #1 lunch combo with a full entree of chicken with garlic gravy sauce. Great service, relaxing atmosphere.

Quiet atmosphere and attentive but not hovering service. The food was delicious and hot, and nothing our table had was anything short of lovely. I am looking forward to being in the area again just to stop in here.

Support your local businesses they say. So I did.Ordered take out got it home (I live two minutes away). Ordered the Hong Kong style chow mien. What a mistake that was. $16. The veggies were ok but far and few between only three pieces of shrimp hardly any chicken and if there was pork I must of missed it. 90%of the meal was egg noodles which a good 35% was burnt the rest just had a burnt flavor. Threw it out couldn’t eat it. Never again.

Servers are friendly & the restaurant is clean. The food was beautifully presented, but lacked flavor. We ordered egg drop soup which is my favorite, but this one had an unpleasant stench & upon trying it also lacked in flavor. They didn’t charge us for the soup. The plates are decent sized for price, but the fact that the food is not delicious makes it overpriced. Not a horrible experience but definitely will not return.

Enjoyed Wor Shu Gai chicken, battered chicken with mushrooms and Chinese vegetables. Egg rolls tasty. Delicious. Excellent friendly service

The service was slow and the server is so unethical. The worst place to have dinner with friends and family. WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN AND JUST VERY DISAPPOINTED! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR FIRST TIMERS.
